Review on 🔑 KeylessOption Replacement Keyless Entry Remote Control Car Key Fob L2C0007T - Blue by Mike Morris

On December 28, 2017 I purchased a Keyless Options car remote advertised as a L2C0007T replacement for my 2003 Pontiac Grand Prix 3.8 for $12.95 plus sales tax and shipping. The step-by-step guide that came with the fob to sync it to my car was not only extremely frustrating, it was also wrong. After several attempts to follow these instructions that require you to perform certain actions in a short period of time, I finally gave up, went to my house, grabbed my tablet and went to YouTube. I quickly found a video specific to my make and model of car with very different video instructions that included entering the fuse box inside and on the side of the glove box on the dash. I grabbed a couple of needle players to remove a specific fuse by following various audio visual instructions and was able to complete it in a simple sequence and in less than 5 minutes. The misspelled instruction manual wasn't the only problem with this particular key fob. It seemed to work very well at first, but every time I used it I had to press the unlock and lock buttons more and more frequently for about 2 months until it stopped working entirely. Thinking the problem might be the old battery that was in the key fob when it arrived I went to my local Ace hardware store and bought a pack of two Duracell 3V batteries with an expiration date of 2025. Tried batteries and key . fob still didn't work. I didn't call the toll-free customer service number on the little plastic card that came with the key fob that had the unit's serial number on it because I figured buying a $12.95 car remote would be my bad luck. I got what I paid for and learned my lesson in the process. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY for and I didn't want to go through the same hassle over and over again. If I could, I would rate this keychain minus 5 stars. Please don't repeat my mistake.
