When I got this I took it out of the packing and then removed it from the external pillow covering. I fluffed it like it says in the instructions and then opened it to peek inside. There was a smell I associate with memory foam products that have been sealed in plastic, so I left it laying out for a few days, then placed it inside the external pillow case and put one of my cases on it. I slept on it last night. So far I like it. I've slept on it once and it took no time to fall asleep. I don't think I moved for around 5 hours which means I was sleeping comfortably. The down side was a twinge in my back from sleeping in the same position for so long. Since I have both back and neck issues, that's a bit concerning for me. However, I had no neck pain, so my head and my neck were supported. So far I'm pleased.
