It works, but the plastic is too flexible, will bend when cut and make the cuts crooked.
This works but we found that the plastic guides are not rigid enough, the cuts are crooked unless we cut very carefully not to put pressure on the guides. The opening for the first disc is also too thick. So I put my bread knife in the first slot, but the bread up to the blade of the knife, and then use the other slots to get the thickness I want.
