For what purpose did I buy the tuba, it copes with its task. As it is a hard plastic tube attached to my bike for a 30 ounce MSR fuel bottle (spare/spare gas canister) it serves that purpose well and leaves enough room inside to hold other items you might want to take with you, e.g. B. Brushes with nylon bristles. (toothbrush) to clean your chain etc. 2 complaints hence deducting 2 stars: 1. The threading on the cap and body is poorly tapped allowing you to "skip" 2 full turns and spit as you set it up . This can easily twist the threads on the cap and render the seal useless. - 1 star. I've drawn a white line where the strands "should" connect to fix this and it's noticeable when they line up and not a little off. 2nd: This is a GENERAL canister at a premium of 400% of what can be bought in ANY STATE. . But due to California's Proposition 65 (the effects of the Toxic Substances Act of 1986) they don't ship here and cost $4.99 elsewhere if you do a simple Google search for "manual canister" or "tool tube." How can this distributor ship to my state of California? But $20 instead of $5. I understand the profit margin, but elsewhere $5 is still profitable. Give me a break. The nose has to be paid for. I've been lucky. - 1 star for the obvious overprice.
