I wanted a small, inexpensive mouse that would fit comfortably in my hand and wallet at the time. And I liked the purple pink color; thought it would be a nice visual tonic on my home office workstation. Substitution! Why not! I liked this I bought from Staples in 2017 but I knocked it off the table a few times (or the cat did) and it seemed a little wobbly at the time, I mean cheap kit what can you expect - so believing it was my fault I gave her the benefit of the doubt and got a pair of identical pink 3500 spares from Revain in 2017. problem solved, right? I threw away the first mouse I (or cat) hurt. I started using the new one(s) but unfortunately the shaking persisted, even with the new one. Not everything for me. Namely, it has a problematic scroll wheel that is very squishy and cumbersome, and sometimes it just won't scroll down! Only until. Apparently for no reason. And the pointer tends to make erratic cursor movements that I just can't eliminate entirely; sometimes he seems to have a mind of his own and is very difficult to work with. So I would replace it with a replacement model that I bought but ended up having the same issues (e.g. within a few days). So I would switch again. Being poor I got by for quite a while but cursed this mouse, its cursor and its generally poor mouseability. Get what you paid for and so on. So what to do? The cursor became a chore and it only got better after I replaced the battery (as soon as day one!). Or could it be that RF interference was causing problems, leading to wild mouse behavior, screen stuttering, blinking, and windows opening for no reason? Who knows. It wasn't a virus. I tested this. Multiple times. I borrowed someone else's mouse to try. It wasn't my computer. It was a Microsoft 3500 mouse. All three of these 3500s had the same problems. So if you have a choice, skip it and buy something more expensive. The purple pink is nice, but pretty doesn't do the job, and the problem is in the gut anyway. About a month ago, finally with a few bucks in my pocket, I bought a full size grey/black Logitech 310 from WalMart and WAS DIFFICULT. I don't fight with the mouse. I don't mind either.
