Review on Enhanced Logitech ๐ŸŽฎ ChillStream Controller for Playstation 3 by Samuel Naidu

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Aside from one all-too-obvious flaw, it's beautiful and laptop-compatible!

Logitech may have released this control too early before the final model of the PS3 standard control was introduced. The only obvious downside that gets it such low scores from everyone else is probably the lack of a home button, leaving you stuck in the game with no way to access the XMB (cross-menu bar). If you're someone who chats and has to go back and forth a lot, I can see this being a hassle. However, if you just play the game until it's time to quit, that's not a problem. Just pull out the USB stick and turn on another PS3 controller when you're done. ChillStream's trick is to help you if you've been playing for a long time and find that your hands are sweating from such a strong grip. If your game is that intense, I don't understand why you have to constantly use XMB frequently. Unless it's for music, but I've had issues with freezing when playing music outside of a game, so I don't even bother with it anymore. The fan inside has two settings, but the low setting may not even be on. The high keeps my palms cool while racing and also thoroughly squeezes for precision. The shoulder triggers left a lot to be desired as they aren't triggers, just big buttons. You seriously must not have noticed that the PS3 controls differ from the PS2 controls. It's nice to have wired controllers because whenever my PS3 controllers finally die, I'm told they will and I'm out of money to fix or replace them. Just out of curiosity, I plugged it into my laptop and it actually found a working driver! so that it works on the computer too, fans and such, so I'll add a few points. Must be labeled as Logitech Playstation 3/PC ChillStream Controller.
