Feels much better in the hand. does not work with PS2 games

I bought this controller because Sony controllers are very small and don't fit well in my hands. Chillstream fits much better and the fans are great. However, as in other reviews. Controller disconnects when trying to play PS2 games on my PS3. Also, as mentioned earlier, there is no PS button. I got around this by plugging a Sony controller into controller jack #2. This works great with PS3 games and I think Logitech will update their controller soon. But it's exactly the same as the PS2…

Chillstream on PlayStation 3

I used it for 2 hours today playing Resistance and found that it prevents sweaty hands but that's about all it does. The speed control button only works when it wants it to, and the D-pad gets stuck either up or down almost every time you try to use it. It also wasn't as responsive as SIXAXIS. My biggest complaint is that there is no PS button! It is not possible to go back to the PS3 main menu without the PS button when playing a game or watching a movie. You can't even turn the system on and…

product joke. Just trash

Threw it in the trash. I wanted this controller to work as I don't usually mind Logitech products, but the button response and feel is a joke. I tried playing Assassin's Creed with this controller and the controller's response was distant and inconsistent. For example, I was running around in-game to my next mission, and for no reason, my chosen weapon just changed as I ran. I wouldn't even touch the buttons that would affect my weapon inventory, but the weapon would switch from hidden blade to

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Logitech may have released this control too early before the final model of the PS3 standard control was introduced. The only obvious downside that gets it such low scores from everyone else is probably the lack of a home button, leaving you stuck in the game with no way to access the XMB (cross-menu bar). If you're someone who chats and has to go back and forth a lot, I can see this being a hassle. However, if you just play the game until it's time to quit, that's not a problem. Just pull out…

good concept Easy plug and play on a Windows 7 PC

Pros: good concept Easy plug and play on a Windows 7 PC Good analog stick , crisp, not the D-Pad the size of a child like many controllers, and the size of a human cross. The diagonals are acceptable but not great. Worthy analogues, just a tiny dead space. I like how it turns off the fan after about 5 minutes of no input and then restarts with every input. Some may not like it. Cons: Loud even on soft hits, whiny on soft hits, doesn't move nearly as much air as a racquet might suggest. The…

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options

Yes, this controller can't turn off PS3, it doesn't support Sixaxis control and it's wired. It is not suitable as a main controller for PS3, but it serves its purpose as a secondary controller for multiplayer games. The controls feel responsive enough, if not quite at SixAxis level, and I like the design. Internal fans, ridiculous as they may seem, are actually fun. Sometimes my hands get sweaty, which is nice. It's not something I would ever ask for, but it's a welcome bonus, if a little odd…

Bad for PS3, works great for PC

So I bought it used at my local game store for $25 (complete rip off but I traded it in for its original $35 tag) so I could buy it for could use my PC . I used to have a PS3 and this is the perfect controller for me. However, this doesn't come close. Unfortunately, there aren't many controllers designed exclusively for PCs with the PS3 layout. The last one I had was more like an X-Box 360 which I absolutely hate because of how it feels. I've used it on a few emulators and am planning to try it

  • Shipping was very quick

  • Crumpled
