I've always wanted a digital picture frame. I don't have many photos at home but I like it because I can have tons of photos (up to 80 photos) of family and friends in one frame. You can also add videos and music, but I mostly upload photos. I think the quality is really good for the price. It's not a high definition TV, but I think the photos look pretty sharp and bright. This depends on your original photo and how well it is rendered. Low quality digital photos do not improve appearance. You must upload high resolution photos for this to display well. I love uploaded photos with inspirational sayings, poems etc along with my personal photos. I can just sit and watch the photos flip through and it's very nice. There are a few things you should know before you buy: 1. You must have a computer or memory card to download photos, videos and music. It uses a USB cable and there is no way to upload photos wirelessly via Bluetooth. I'm using my Windows laptop and the frame's hard drive worked without any issues. If you only have a smartphone with photos, you need to transfer them to a computer or memory card first, and then to a photo frame. You can insert a memory card (USB) or a memory card directly into the back of the photo transfer frame, etc.2. I'm pretty good with computers and can usually understand electronics without a manual. This is no exception - I managed to "figure it out" but for people who rely on manuals this will be a disappointment. There is a practically useless "quick start guide" - attach the stand, plug in, turn on the frame, plug in the USB cable, start the slide show, remove the insulating strip on the remote control. Super simple, no brain, no details at all.3. I have the distinct impression that this is just another "Made in China" product with a Kodak label stuck on. It's not exactly high-tech, as it doesn't use Bluetooth or WiFi to connect to devices for data transfer. You'll also need to use either the remote or the buttons on the back of the case to navigate the on-screen menus. I would like a touch screen. I would love all the things listed above but for the price this is a decent quality frame. I think that's a reasonable price for what you get. Don't get me wrong, I really love this product and I'm glad I bought it. It fits perfectly with what I expected and wanted, but I just want you to know that it's a bit "old school".
