I bought this necklace as a birthday present for my 10 year old niece. Since the 90's are back - I wanted like crazy for myself back then, but they were only real (unavailable to my parents) gold - so I thought I'd treat my niece to some culture. I love it when a company gives you more for your money. Not only will you receive the necklace in a very sturdy box, you will also receive: * a blank mini-card to write a note in * an envelope to put a mini-card in * a card with care instructions * a cleaning cloth * a card (with the words ) for hanging the chain I can't say anything about the durability of the chain. Not given or worn yet. What I can tell you is that part of the name carries a good amount of weight - it's not a "lightweight" cheap one.
