I'm not sure if my connector was too tight but this tool didn't really work. It was difficult to keep it plugged in and rotated, and I think you're going to have trouble with any typography tool like this. I ended up using a chisel and a hammer on the side to loosen it. This is probably more of a Harley design issue than an issue with this thing. I've used it with another fork that was looser and it worked fine. I would have preferred a hex plug which I think they make and it would be easier to hold the tool when loosening and tightening.
