Not perfect, but better than shaving and waxing!

I don't write many reviews but there were so many conflicting reviews that I decided to share my experience. I bought my Epilady about two months ago so it took me a while to see how it worked. I've been shaving my legs for over 40 years and am part rum so I had to shave daily twice a day if I wanted smooth legs at night. I read someone's review about using Dove deodorant after using Epilady to prevent ingrown hairs and so far so good. It also soothes the redness when each hair is pulled out by the root. Yes, the first time I used it it hurt like hell. Maybe even excruciating, but the second time I did the legs, the pain wasn't as bad. After a few months it doesn't bother me at all. My hair is also getting a lot thinner. I've also used it well on my armpits and it's worked great on my arms which I've never shaved. It probably works best on hair that hasn't been shaved in decades. For some reason, Epilady doesn't hit every hair. No matter how much I walk along the leg, with twisting movements, at the proposed and at any other angle, some hairs do not fall out. So I use it once a week for about 20 minutes. What didn't happen last week will happen this week, and best of all, while not all my hair is falling out, my legs remain smooth week after week. If it had all the hair on it without having to go down my legs so often I would give it 5 stars but I won't be going back to shaving. Don't waste your money getting a battery-powered "sensitive area" with regular Epiladia. It's useless and you can use full size to get facial hair. All in all worth a try to see if it works for you.
