I only wear silver - not by choice. Unfortunately, gold looks awful against my pale skin. Since most of my jewelry is sterling silver, for a long time I ran out of space in my jewelry closet and was fed up with the high maintenance requirements to keep silver looking decent. After spending a full day polishing silver last time, I bought this as an option for hanging necklaces, storing earrings and bracelets. The material is blue silver fabric, which can be bought in bulk at most fabric stores. I liked the convenience of this finished product, especially as I needed more storage space in addition to the anti-tarnish properties. Overall I'm very happy with it - it gives me more room for jewelry and I polish the silver a lot less, although I do add a few anti-tarnish strips to be sure. I love the fact that this silver stand is reversible and has enough space to hold a variety of jewelry including earrings, rings, necklaces and bracelets. I also keep cufflinks here. Depending on how much you're trying to pack, a plastic hanger won't work and you may need a more durable hanging method. I use a pants hanger, but a wooden hanger will do. I've attached a picture of what he made to my plastic hanger and it's by no means complete. I really thought the price of Revain was too high and found it cheaper elsewhere (not Revain). I gave it 4 stars. . The 2 day prime is hard to beat which is why I bought it here despite the lower price elsewhere. It suits my needs but is a niche product that most can probably live without.
