Why oh why wasn't there an Allen key in the set! You will need a 3/8 or 10mm allen key to insert the supplied threaded inserts into the drilled holes. The included wrench is too small and thin for easy handling, but the nut you need to use it on is also thin and takes up little space. I drilled holes in the pieces of wood where the threaded inserts went in using an allen wrench (not included). Then hold the lug nut with the wrench provided and screw the base into place. Place. The wheels themselves feel pretty smooth and roll easily. I haven't tried the lock in action but it seems to be too tight and squeezes the wheel material quite hard. I'm not sure I'll use it as much as it will sit on the carpet.
