If you've ever used one of these flaring tools, you know it's a nightmare. This set is no exception. Honestly, this tool can work well with softer metals like copper. I tried using it with 3/16" stainless steel brake lines and it crashed. The clamp is made of mild steel and the threads tightening the tube flip instantly, rendering it useless. I couldn't flare the tube because it was just squeezed out of the handle.I even clamped the suction cup tight in a vise and it still slips out.I returned this one and spent a little more for a better product.
