Review on MAXXIS Bravo AT-771 215/65 R16 98T summer by Mateusz Jankowski ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Everything is fine, there are only minor drawbacks.

Prior to that, there were kumho sizes 225/55 R17; nevertheless, I made the decision to switch to new ones that were slightly larger. Maxxis 225/60 R17 had over 2 centimeters of tread depth already. The profile height of 60 is about equivalent to the kumho of 55. As a direct consequence of this, the diameter of the wheel did not much alter, but the width shrunk: ( When going shopping, it is best to bring a ruler and some sort of measuring device with you. In practice, the tread is not nearly as aggressive or high as it appears in the picture. In general, I am content; the tires run smoothly and quietly, and the road holds up nicely. Although I have not yet had the opportunity to try it off-road, I can say that it rides smoothly on rolled damp clay.

Pros
  • Compared to equivalents, these are more affordable, in addition to being quieter. It drives smoothly on water, snow that has been melted, clay that has been wet, and asphalt.
Cons
  • The sizes are more accurate to the next size down.
