I have to admit I was surprised.
These 140lb watercolor coloring books aren't quite what I expected. I recently paid more money for a smaller and more expensive hardback that claims to be hot-pressed watercolor paper. These 30 page books are much better. In fact, each of the two spiral-bound hardcover books contains 30 pages of very smooth watercolor paper. I have already used paper (easily removable due to the perforation of individual pages) with watercolor pencils and fine line markers. I have yet to use a watercolor brush to determine its color handling ability, but so far this is an inexpensive but quality watercolor magazine.
