I'm 5ft 2in and 127lbs. The 9 was too big in the waist so it was changed to a 7 which fitted perfectly as I was 130lbs. Tie it as tightly as you can today and its comfortable top brim will sit squarely on the pelvic bone. No doubt he will remain submerged under the wave. The size is comfortable for everyone, but will probably be a bit large if you lose a few pounds since you won't have room to tighten it. For size and weight so well suited for the time being. The material appears to be very durable. Happy with the purchase.
