Easy upgrade, works great
My Asrock Z370 Extreme4 motherboard came with a USB C 3.1 port that was wasted. My case doesn't have a Type-C connector and I couldn't find any front panel hubs that would allow me to use that connector (at least all the Type-C front panel hubs I've found are actually designed to use the old Convert USB 3 port). . USB connector type C). So this article is perfect. Even though my phone's 3.1 header is Gen 1, it works fine with this Gen device. 2 (although it lacks the full functionality of 3.2). At the moment I'm using it with a hub to add 6 more USB 3 Type A ports and they all work. Quick and easy update and this title is now in practice. Looks well made too.
