Extremely practical and easy to install

It was a great purchase. My case has a USB-C port on top, but my case is sitting on a table so it's not easy to reach. This allowed me to put the USB connector in the back next to me. Now it's much easier to get access. I'm planning to get a USB-C NAS and now I don't have to worry about the cable having a 90° bend at the top of the connector.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Difficult to remember but it was

Great, works great with MB Asus X470 Prime Pro USB3.1 Gen2 connector

This allows me to add a USB3.1 Gen2 (Type C) connector on the back, coming from the Asus X470 connector. They're hard to find, it's a shame Asus didn't include them, but they're good quality with a nice matte black, slightly textured finish. The cable reached the header easily, not too long and not too short. No sign of mistakes. Nothing I've got can test those 10Gb/s speeds, but it doesn't slow anything down either.

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • No form required

Absolutely Awesome USB Hubs

Every once in a while I stumble across a product so simple and perfect for my needs at a reasonable price that I wonder why there aren't a million more exactly the same products exist. I was having a hard time sorting through all the PCIe cards that were very expensive and needed different sets of connectors just to connect a USB-C 3.1 port or two to my computer before I stumbled upon this gem. To be honest I had to modify the mount slightly to fit the back wall but it says FRONT very clearly…

Pros
  • Regular Price
Cons
  • Too Stupid

Super easy installation and fast connection.

The first one I installed caused Windows to hang during a file transfer and not reliably detect the drive. I ordered another one and got the same results. I have another computer with the same motherboard so I installed it on another computer. It went straight in and worked perfectly. I haven't had time to look into the first motherboard yet, but I'll get to the bottom of the problem. The support was great, they were aware of my issue and offered a replacement straight away, but I wasn't sure…

Pros
  • I have my fingers crossed
Cons
  • Makes me nervous

Easy upgrade, works great

My Asrock Z370 Extreme4 motherboard came with a USB C 3.1 port that was wasted. My case doesn't have a Type-C connector and I couldn't find any front panel hubs that would allow me to use that connector (at least all the Type-C front panel hubs I've found are actually designed to use the old Convert USB 3 port). . USB connector type C). So this article is perfect. Even though my phone's 3.1 header is Gen 1, it works fine with this Gen device. 2 (although it lacks the full functionality of 3.2).

Pros
  • Looking forward to it
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other options
