It was a great purchase. My case has a USB-C port on top, but my case is sitting on a table so it's not easy to reach. This allowed me to put the USB connector in the back next to me. Now it's much easier to get access. I'm planning to get a USB-C NAS and now I don't have to worry about the cable having a 90° bend at the top of the connector.

This allows me to add a USB3.1 Gen2 (Type C) connector on the back, coming from the Asus X470 connector. They're hard to find, it's a shame Asus didn't include them, but they're good quality with a nice matte black, slightly textured finish. The cable reached the header easily, not too long and not too short. No sign of mistakes. Nothing I've got can test those 10Gb/s speeds, but it doesn't slow anything down either.

My Asrock Z370 Extreme4 motherboard came with a USB C 3.1 port that was wasted. My case doesn't have a Type-C connector and I couldn't find any front panel hubs that would allow me to use that connector (at least all the Type-C front panel hubs I've found are actually designed to use the old Convert USB 3 port). .
