I expected more from an app in this price range, but I find it "works". The lights themselves are great, easy to use with a strip on the back, easy to mount even on uneven surfaces. Red, blue and green colors look fantastic and retain their brightness with a full dimming range. However, the color ranges between red, blue and green are clearly not sufficient. Colors like yellow and orange come out as either very red or very green and are weaker than simple red and green highlights at full power. Blurry and definitely not as advertised. The in-app music feature only works with a few preloaded songs with patchy sound quality, but the mic and color wheel features are great. The style feature in the app has limited color and effect presets. , but you can overcome this with the microphone function. If you want to turn your space into a gathering place, just use a Bluetooth speaker or other device. But it's uncomfortable. I would say buy if you only care about the style and functionality of the lights. Don't be fooled by "features" as half of them don't even work properly or as advertised.
