An attempt was made to fully clean an enameled cast iron skillet that had been used as a grill for several years without being fully cleaned. After using dish soap and baking soda with boiling water I ran out of ideas. I used about half a can of this BKF version for about 20 cleaning and rinsing cycles and it cleaned about 95 percent on the inside and about 90 percent on the outside. Nothing else I've tried could move the hand as much as a silver BKF. I'm sure there's a way to make it 100 percent by leaving the BKF on overnight or cleaning it with a better tool, but it doesn't seem like much effort. too much of. Several pans that I could never fully clean with a single dish soap became 100 percent clean very quickly. My only gripe is that it seems to take A LOT of product to get a semi-dry, chewy consistency to clean anything larger than a 10-inch pan. I drank two cans of this stuff in one week. If this is your first time cleaning a bunch of dishes with BKF, double your order. I believe the routine cleaning that follows does not require as much product. I will for sure buy this again!
