Bought to work with a foam gun I recently bought and after a few sets I'm VERY happy with it. It is necessary to double the recommended amount for another gun brand (not the Griot brand) and not completely fill the gun tank to get a good foam that sticks and does not drip immediately. You can apply about 2-3 coats from a cannon if you fill up about 80% of the cannon bottle with warm water. A simple spray, leave for a few minutes and rinse will NOT clean your car. You still need to use a cleaning mitt or microfiber sponge to remove the dirt even if the car is polished well. For this reason I only give 4 stars. Here's my recommendation for a good foam: - Fill a Canon bottle with about 4-5 ounces of Griot's Foaming Surface Cleaner. - Fill the bottle with warm water until it is approximately 80% full, approximately a 25-28 oz mark. - Adjust the foam gun for a smaller spray pattern, do not open it for a wide spray. Rinse with water using the tip of the nozzle at a 45° angle from top to bottom - Apply 2nd coat again from bottom to top - Leave for a minute or two and then wipe with a microfiber glove or sponge wipe the entire machine to remove excess dirt. - Rinse with the remaining soap in the foamer until all is gone. - Final rinse with the tip of the spray nozzle at a 45° angle from top to bottom. - Hand dry to avoid water stains with a microfiber towel.
