Review on πŸ•―οΈ Premium American Soy Organics - High-Quality Midwest Soy Container Wax Beads for Candle Making | 10 lb Bag by Jennifer Roberts

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Terribly packaged, the wax was scattered everywhere. Candles have huge shells.

terrible packaging! 25 pounds of wax in a cheap bag? Not a good idea. You can see in my photos what happened to my box during shipping. The sides are open for riders to pick up the box, but they punctured the plastic bag containing the wax shavings, causing the wax to leak in and out of the box through the hand hole! I had to scoop out all the wax and put it in smaller freezer safe bags that hold about 5 pounds. This is how they should have packaged it in the first place (in 5 pound bags). If you use a pouch, it needs to be reinforced to prevent tearing. And no side holes in the box. I've lost over 6 pounds of wax. And I can only imagine what a mess the courier went through. When I repackaged the wax myself, it literally spilled everywhere! A complete mess. The chips are tiny so they get everywhere and smash on the floor and carpet. I'm very upset to be honest. Now for the product test itself. I own a candle factory and make hundreds of candles every week. I've used this brand before with no problems, but the first batch I made today came out with horrible shells and jagged tips. I had to heat the tips with a heat gun to even them out after drying, which took several hours a day. Not sure why this happened. I always water at the same temperature and that never happens. I feel like I had a bad load of wax. To put it mildly, I'm not happy. I don't think I will order from this seller again.
