Following in the footsteps of the equally renowned Michelin brand, the Opel Astra received tires from the Continental brand. The most important factor in the decision-making process was finding tires that would not be a letdown after the ones that had been used previously. Although the tires fell into virtually the same price range, I had the impression that their declared performance indicators were superior, particularly in terms of handling and acoustic comfort. Although it is impossible to comment on the wear resistance of the tire at this point, in general, the tire has nearly completely lived up to all of the anticipation that was placed on it. I was a little embarrassed by the soft sidewall of the tire; however, I believe that this is some kind of compensation for a comfortable ride. The rubber, as it were, swallows all of the irregularities of the asphalt road; however, more serious pits should be treated very carefully (there is a fear that the tire can be seriously damaged). I was happy with the selection; however, in the future I may include some notes regarding how the item wears.
