Review on πŸ’Ό Travelon Security-Friendly Money Belt: Black, One Size (38-40 Inch Waist) - Ultimate Travel Companion for Secure Cash Storage by Jonathan Jensen

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Holds up well. Just not to dress up in the evening.

Holds up better than the Thomas Bates Metal Free/Reversible Leather Belt, which slips off in a short period of use (an hour) and is also cheaper. (I bought a leather belt from Magellan's travel catalogue.) This belt is nylon and therefore only suitable for a very casual style. The security pocket is tiny so you don't carry all your travel money in it. Maybe it's just for an emergency C-Note. Four stars for a cheap belt; what works (like a belt); and that you don't have to remove your belt during security checks. UPDATE (10/10/2012): At security checkpoints (Chicago, O'Hare, Hong Kong, Singapore) I was asked to remove the belt even after telling the security officer that the belt was plastic. Regardless of whether; it had to be removed. However, there is another reason to buy this belt if like me you have contact dermatitis with metal buckles. Now I understand!

Pros
  • even understands the old
Cons
  • A few little things
