Absolutely the best option for those who cook with salt

I bought one of these for my house about 6 months ago along with a box of coarse salt. It sits on the counter by the stove, and whenever something needs salting, we just pinch off the amount we need and toss it in the pot (or, on rarer occasions, on the plate before serving). We try not to salt food too much) ). We don't fiddle with the included spoon and stow it in the small slot behind the lid's hinge (it just sits there and won't fall out since we don't lift the jar). The lid reliably protects the container from moisture, and the salt never sticks together. After it is empty, we take it out and clean it well. I don't know why others are complaining about the break. We don't handle it manually and it works fine. I recently bought one for my son who loves to cook as we absolutely loved ours. I haven't read all the negative comments but we cook a lot at home and we love it. I can't think of anything negative about it. This is a great gift idea for those who cook a lot. Add some good salt and you're done.
