So far so good. I bought two of these to make my bench grinder mobile because I have 3 of them (one for grinding, one for sharpening). knives/axes etc and one for polishing) - so when I need a grinder in my garage each bolts to a 3ft wide and 8 inch deep piece of plywood - that's why I needed them - and they hold each grinder with no vibration or otherwise Noise on the spot - just stick a piece of black electrical tape on the tensioning mechanism just in case, depending on the situation, a small ringing may start, which stops when the machine is turned on - that's my experience, I used and mine Turned bench grinders off and the tape is still the same tape I put on - hope this helps someone
