Review on 🩳 Danskin Women's Essential Ankle Leggings by Caleb Eichbauer

Revainrating 2 out of 5

The waist is very wide for such a thin leggings!

These are my first pair of Danskin leggings and to be honest I bought them because they are one of the few cotton pairs I could find. very soft and very very comfortable and the material is great. However, they are very, very thin, and when they get wet, they darken. I run every day and bought these mainly as running tights. They show off nice spots and while they don't look particularly comfortable, they are light enough to be very flexible and move with me. Another problem is the fit. They're more like yoga leggings in that they're thin and form-fitting, but the waistband is very wide and while there's no elastic or compression band to tighten, the waistband is so big that it actually creates pouches and bands around my thighs. I like it. They are medium rise, not the very high waisted ones which I tend to avoid. But the belt alone keeps me from buying a mother pair. Although I really like them and they are very comfortable and light, I tugged at my waist to pull them up and because they compress my hips they don't lay flat under my running tops. Overall they are poorly designed and I will be returning them to Revane. I was going to keep them to wear around the house or to sleep in, but decided against them because I really wanted the leggings not to work in house clothes. If you have a wide waist or big hips these leggings would be perfect, but I'm slim and they don't suit my shape that well. For reference, I'm 5'4" and typically around 105-110 pounds. These leggings cover my legs and go a little past the ankles, but I don't mind the extra material around the ankles.
