Where has the taste gone?
I don't use paper filters so I found the machine horrible myself when I used it with my new MoccaMaster. The coffee was weak and tasteless no matter how I ground the coffee and how much I used. I switched to a permanent gold filter and the flavor is back. For anyone who has bought a new MoccaMaster and can't figure out why the coffee is weak and tasteless, it's the paper filters. Get a #4 permanent gold filter and the flavor will come back. If you normally use paper filters, I'm sure they're fine.
