Don't let the manufacturer's hype fool you - this car cover is full of junk. It's made from a material very similar to those reusable, recycled shopping bags. And if you've used them before, you know they tear easily and become completely useless. This car cover will stretch a little but will surely rip in the blink of an eye. In fact, it's so thin that I could easily see through it if I held it up to the sun; for example, gauze was put on the lens, everything is blurred, but still more or less everything is visible through it. Water repellent? HA! It is NOT water resistant, waterproof or anything like that. The morning dew seeped through slightly, leaving both my car and the damn thing wet. To top it off, there are warnings everywhere that the manufacturer is not responsible if it ruins your car's paintwork - translation - there's a good chance it will ruin your car's paintwork, otherwise there wouldn't have been a warning in the first place. It's so thin and porous that it's probably useless to ward off dust or bird droppings. The description also states that "the non-abrasive inner fabric spoils your beauty underneath". Truth? Since both sides of the fabric are exactly the same, the description is misleading, assuming the underside has a special protective property. no It's the same cheap stuff on both sides. Conclusion – Get a good quality car cover or windshield sunshade. Don't mess with this cheap thing. And it's not even "you get what you pay for" because I saw this particular car cover at a local auto shop for over $100. Do yourself a favor and stay away. Luckily, Revain has a great returns policy; and I was able to return it for a refund, no questions asked.
