Fan runs fine at full speed but poor speed control with PWM, around 50% and below it pulses slowly, switching on and off, I have the PWM frequency tried from 62500hz to 976hz (976 gives better range before pulsing) I even tried just changing the voltage instead of sending a PWM signal and the built in fan circuit always leaves it after about 60-50% duty cycle still pulsing. .I wanted this for a desktop fan that I could adjust from scratch to blow my mind and it works, but the ripple gets on my nerves and I can feel a pulsing breeze.
