First of all my Epson 8350 beeps. This is a faint beep indicating that the temperature is too high or the lamp is using too much power (never a clear answer to the cause received). It's annoying when you're sitting close to the projector, but weak enough to be ignored when you're sitting further away (or you can just turn up the TV's volume). As far as I know there is no way to disable this beep or lower its volume. If you can get rid of the beeping sound (which seems to be a problem with almost every non-OEM lamp I've read reviews of), this lamp worked as advertised. Was a lot brighter than the worn out OEM bulb it replaced (which had around 2500 hours). It is currently around 3500 hours and has recently started to dim. This exceeds the advertised lifespan of 3000 hours. The 2020 pandemic meant I ran 3500 hours in one year, while the previous lightbulb took 7 years to get to 2500 hours (357 hours per year). I don't know if leaving it on 10 hours a day affected its lifespan. I'll probably buy another one as I don't want to invest too much money in this projector before swapping it out for a newer laser projector. TL; DR - A good budget lamp that works as advertised. If you can live with your projector beeping faintly when using a non-OEM lamp.
