They gave me a smartphone. Before the gift, I thought that Apple was a class above the Chinese and Koreans - verified, debugged ("everything is perfect" or close to it). No wonder their products are a little more expensive ?! ) In general, smart is not bad, not poor, but I think that the price does not match the quality. Has pros: - Workmanship (but not better than Huawei or HTC 10). - High (instant) software response; - High screen brightness; - The screen is juicy, without color (green, pink, blue) overflows, unlike smartphones Samsung, HTC, Sony. - Lots of settings. - Smooth animation. - Not a bad camera (see cons). - Good vibration motor. - Good sound of the external speaker (I did not check it with headphones). Got cons: - For me personally: There is no "Back" button (it's extremely annoying after smartphones with Android). In addition to inconvenience, some applications hang in the background because of this and eat up the battery. - Clumsy interface - not always intuitive, inscriptions on the same screen can begin with capital and lowercase letters, be partially in 2022 and English, inscriptions are used that do not clearly indicate the content or functions. (I didn’t think that Apple could have such blunders, I haven’t seen such problems in Android for a very long time). - Very large bezels around the screen. - Protruding camera (although, when using a case, it can be a plus). - Heavy, but men will do. - The aspect ratio of the photo is only 4:3, to get other formats you need to use the built-in editor (I admit that I did not figure it out). - Photos and videos can only be in the new (heif, hevc) or old format (jpeg, avc), no combinations (jpeg + avc). 4k 60 fps with hevc only. Heif format out of the box is not supported anywhere (TV, Windows, Linux). - Photos in HDR mode in the bright sun (sun behind) are often overexposed (blurred), have excessive sharpness. - Video with jelly effect - watch on the computer. - Screen with gray patches. - The mail client is not intuitive, much worse than the standard one from Android. - Siri is worse than Google at recognizing requests and giving results if the request is successfully recognized at all.
