I asked about connecting to the original wiring for the reversing lights but concluded that you just need to make sure the full size fuse is in the fuse box for the reversing lights. If the fuse doesn't blow, it means it's not using too much power and it's protected! mine were ok As you can see from the photos they are VERY BRIGHT! There's even a headlight that I saw but didn't know what it was. My Dodge pickup had the worst taillights (like most). My wife couldn't see the fuse after walking down the steep, winding driveway to our gate when she realized the gate wouldn't open. The installation was a bit fiddly. Needed a pad to make room. I had to tighten the hex bolt and then turn the light and tighten with the nut under the bumper. The headlights are SUPER BRIGHT with a built in headlight as you can see in my photo.
