So this is a great humidifier if you like taking things apart and giving them a deep clean at least once a week. I wouldn't mind cleaning if I didn't have to remove a tiny screwdriver and tiny springs every time. There's no easy way to clean it, and if you don't clean it, the heating element inside will dry out in a thick, awkward mold. And it can take several days of cleaning/soaking in bleach to get rid of this mold. Even if a little bleach is added to the water to curb mold growth, it still sticks to the heating element with a vengeance. It took a full day, repeated soaking in bleach, then scrubbing and soaking again (repeat 4 times) to get it clean again. Also, after 3 months it just stopped working. I honestly just want my money back but the return window is closed. I hate that.
