Strong, break-resistant prints

Like most 405nm resins, this one smells bad, but I didn't find it any worse than other resins I've used. I used it for a curved lightbar for mount adapters for my jeep wrangler. I used cheaper resins when prototyping, which inevitably crack when tightened. Made from this resin, the end adapters did not crack and held tight even during tough off-road driving. I used the AnyCubic Photon Mono printer and initially had some problems because my slicer software was buggy and gave a 20 second exposure instead of a 2 second exposure. After switching to one version of the software, I had no problems with the 2 second shutter speed recommended by Photon Mono. I found that you really have to shake this stuff, and overexposure resulted in slime, but after correcting the exposure and shaking it really well, I had no problems. One downside is the container doesn't feel bad because of the spout and it's really dirty with tar running down the sides after the bottle is capped and set aside so make sure you put something underneath.

Pros
  • Great value for money
Cons
  • Big and bulky
