Review on 🪡 Sulky Of America 268d 40wt 2-Ply Rayon Thread, 1500 yd, Hot Pink - Vibrant and Durable Sewing Thread for Creative Projects by Carla Anderson

When I bought this I wasn't concerned about avoiding poor quality yarn because I've never come across a yarn that was so ridiculously unsatisfactory! It keeps breaking when I try to sew with it even though the machine tension is set correctly for the task at hand. So I tried just pulling the thread with my hands and it snapped very easily, much easier than any thread I had ever used before. I had an incomplete piece of quilt that I had to remove with a seam ripper because the bobbin thread broke again halfway through and the thread actually frayed into fluff and fell apart completely when I carefully pulled it out with a seam ripper! I've NEVER had threads that do this before. I bought this specifically for an urgent project and since I don't have time to wait for a replacement with a better brand I just have to use another yarn that I already had at home in a different color. I will no longer buy from this brand. The only thing I can think of using this yarn for is handmade basting stitches that are not meant to be used for a long time.
