I had a very bad experience with this seller. It all started with them loading the thread on a different bobbin than the clearly stated they would in their ad. They said they would put in on a y cone with the end cap to hold the thread. Instead, they put it on a paper bobbin. They did not tell me this until the already shipped it. I tried three. I did rewind the spools onto bobbins. Just throw the spool on the floor to let it unwind by itself. Hold the thread and wind the bobbin by hand. I purchased set A several years ago. The spool was terrible and I have lost quite a lot of thread due to it just falling off the end. Since then, they have replaced it with the cone style which is much better. However, about half of the cone bottoms which are supposed to snap to hold the loose end of the thread don't snap. I am pleasantly surprised. The quality of the thread is great. I went to my stitch out a turtle theme design and found it called for 18 different greens - over half were in this set. From looking at the listing photo, it would appear there are several shades of red in this jewel colors set. Wrong. There is only ONE red thread in the lot. I have used two spools so far and they kept breaking. Not because of the quality but the design of the spool. I think the head of the spool is a little low which causes the threading on the top to fall off, get tangled and break on yhe machine when it cant be feed. I'm hoping this doesnt happen to all of most of them. the spools are also smaller thatln the others I have used. I'm new to embroidering, so I was a little worried about some of the complaints about the thread unwinding easily and creating knots, but I haven't had a single problem. This is my first set of embroidery thread so I have nothing to compare it to. However I am really happy and excited about it. I've sewn on denim with it and the colors are shiny and saturated and stand out well. The thread is a nice thickness and feels smooth.The spools are nicely designed.
