I bought this because we had a poor seal on our gray tank collar and needed an extra collar to control flow. What I didn't expect is that it will save me a few hundred bucks if we have installation issues. multiple paths a snake can take and it just never goes where you want it to. However, I could use a backwash of this product to pressurize the end of the system! So I closed the gate, connected the hose and set it to tank mode. The water filled the pipes, pressurized the pipes, and then pushed the clog all the way into the reservoir where I was able to dissolve it with chemicals! There was no need to call a wheeled plumber and the problem was solved in minutes. Add to that the benefits of transparent gates so you can see what's draining, the addition of a second gate to protect against leaking gates, and the ability to squirt water onto a smelly, streamlined pipe and you have a product that does twice as much is expensive to steal .
