Enhanced Sewer Hose Swivel Fitting - Camco 39857 RhinoFLEX Clear 90 Degree Review

I didn't realize how dirty the black tank was until we installed it. I like that it rotates too. Perfect for our needs. Bought with a different 90 degree angle. Really lets us see when the tank is clean, when the water is running transparent. My daughter said I got a weird pleasure watching the shit flow by. So we know when the tank is clean enough. Before that she hated going into her own bathroom, the smell 💩 was so awful.

This connector leaks at the end of the sleeve when connected to the RhinoFLEX sewer hose. The connection is loose and really loose. The tip end fits snugly on the dump valve and the end of the RhinoFlex hose fits snugly on the dump valve as well. Another brand of fixed elbow I have fits snugly in the groin of this elbow, but the same brand RhinoFlex hose does not fit. It looks like the tubing is too short after the tips and won't fit with the RhinoFLEX tubing seal.

LEAKS LEAKS - the seal between the clear and orange parts is broken and this teat is leaking everywhere! Buyers beware - I have no idea if this is fake or just a defect but now I've wasted my money and need to clean up the smelly mess (note to others, check the gray tank first - obvious if you think about it) . Let me start by saying that I am an underwater photographer. I'm saying this so you can really understand that I know how to take care of pads and that's not a problem. This knee cannot be sealed the way it's designed, no matter how hard you nail it. I use Camco's Rhinoflex drain hose. This product works great as it allows you to see the waste stream and see when it becomes clear when using the tank flush. Excellent for gravity feed into waste tank. When I hooked it up to my macerator the unit was not pressurized and actually fell apart when the line was pressurized with the bypass valve closed. I did a lot of research on how dumping works because my biggest fear was how cumbersome and crude the process would be. I've learned that it's best to have this part so you can see when the black tank flush goes away before you stop. So handy and practical but if I hadn't done so much research I wouldn't have known and just used the standard hard case that came in my starter kit instead.
