The usefulness of a USB charger in a home lamp is second to none. This is very practical next to the bed or sofa in the living room. While this one is (and I knew it before I bought it) more like a jet charger, it still does the trick and I love it. The design of the lamp itself is understated and elegantly compact, just what I was looking for and suitable for children and dogs as my living room lamp has been knocked off the shelf a few times and it still works. They are compatible with smart home lightbulbs (so Alexa can turn them off for me). My only wish is that they last a little longer now that I've had them for half a year. I'm starting to notice a little wear on the glue they use to attach the lampshade to the base of the lamp and the top and bottom of the wood base together. For the price, I got what I paid for and I'm glad it just doesn't have the "wow" factor with this product.
