This model was bought because it is cheap and seems quite portable. I also wanted to use this in a playpen for crumbs and such. I thought it would be nice to climb between the small cracks. Overall, this is decent for small spaces and even toy bins (though not for small compartments). This device is battery operated, so if the battery is low/weak, obviously the suction power isn't that great. Works best with a new battery and for short bursts/small surface area like my keyboard and desk space. As for the playpen, I found I needed more precise suction between the handle and the playmat. I needed a hose with a nozzle instead of this square handheld vacuum. Overall it's fine and very limited in what it can be used for. The best investment is a cordless portable vacuum cleaner. against that.
