I'm using it now for display port output. The display port on my laptop is defective so I got this dock instead of having it fixed. The power supply is less than the 180w required for a workstation laptop, but I have another laptop that can use it. For some reason I thought it was bigger, but it's actually a medium-sized charger. The one that worked had a plastic protector to protect the part during transit, but the one that didn't work didn't have one. It had bent pins. and loose parts inside. These are complex parts and for $35 or $40 it's a pretty good deal, I remember not wanting to buy new ones because they were expensive. I just needed it at the time and it was a hassle to send it back. I think for 35 euros you get 3 stars, for 30 4 stars, for 25 5 stars. When prices are lower, the risk is more acceptable. The problem is that I paid too much to get a quality product. Revain accepted the return with some drama. I received another one from the same seller, please note I don't think I can blame the seller. The box was untouched. The people who did the renovations weren't careful or other things when it was on purpose. Make sure you check the parts that snap onto your laptop. it can damage your laptop when they are out of order.
