Good for no-fuss use
Requires no software to be installed (most barcode scanners don't require it and actually emulates a USB keyboard) and for 1/5 the price it works the same as our $100 scanners . It might not stand up to constant use in a heavy retail or industrial environment, but it works, and it works well. I've used it for hardware inventory in several small offices. It read the model, serial number, and our custom asset tags flawlessly with a decent range and quick retrieval. The model I received was not released under the Neewer brand but is otherwise identical to the product images.
