Crack after 2 weeks

I wanted to like this very much. I'm inlove with the vintage design. But just 2 weeks of use I noticed a crack on the cup. :( I would hope this is sturdy enough for a toddler apparently not.

This was a birthday gift for my three year old, she loves it!

Cons

The set may not be dishwasher safe in reality
