Easy to install. It took two screwdrivers to adjust the width to fit the window. Then I centered it in the window and tightened the tension with white spinners. I liked that it was quick and I didn't have to drill through the wall. I bought this to protect a two year old (and a five year old) who actually knows better than to stand in a window. Way out: I also like that in an emergency you could flip white spinners and the window bars would fall out the window. I think a bigger kid might. I bought an open box set and got it for 2/3 the original price. Bought 2 records. would buy more.
