Shrinks after washing, so take one size bigger!

I bought size 9 months for my 7 months old daughter. Although I like the material, design and price, it felt a bit tight. She can wear it for another month but not until she is 9 months old. When I opened the package it looked bigger, but when I washed it it shrunk in size. My daughter is in the 30th percentile height chart. If you had an avatar or a bigger child I would increase the size! But otherwise I love the design and the material!
