Review on ๐Ÿ’บ Rolling Adjustable Stool with Wheels for Work Medical Tattoo Salon Office, Heavy Duty Esthetician Hydraulic Chair (Black) by Heidi Jenkins

Comfortable, very slippery wheels

I'm upgrading my 25-year-old children's desk to a sit-stand desk and I bought this chair and the SONGMICS stand-desk chair (adjustable/rocking/balancing) for comparison. I am 6ft tall, about 155lbs, have very long legs and torso and have been prone to neck/back pain and poor posture over the years. This stool arrived 2 days faster than expected in a smaller and lighter box than expected. . The seat is very high/thick and hard, if I push hard with my hands I can't push in more than 3 inches. Cover and seams look perfect. It's prone to staining and I believe it can rip/tear fairly easily if mishandled (so don't sit with pens/pencils in your back pocket and don't let your dog or cat scratch/chew on it!). Pretty easy to assemble. 5 wheels have a plastic peel off protective film and 4/5s pop in with minimal effort, the 5th was difficult and required a hammer and still only seems 98% full but somehow everything seems smooth and smooth. I don't know how to take them off when I have to pack and return this stool. The cap is removed from the center tube and the opposite end inserted into the wheelbase. It doesn't quite snap into place - if you twist it slightly you'll find a spot where it will pinch enough that you can pick it up without falling out, but it's not secure as you won't click or click on it. locking. So far I've lifted/carried the stool by the seat many times and it hasn't fallen apart. With the right twist and lift, this can happen. The seat then mounts directly onto the post and appears to snap securely into place. The stool is easy to adjust and not as high as I thought it would be, but it gives me a choice that suits both my current low table and a higher breakfast table. Of course after you pick it up there will be grease/oil on the pipe. So be careful before touching the pad or anything else when you touch it. The wheels slide EFFORTLESSLY so you can actually slosh on them and fly backwards. You need to hold on and tense before you sit down, so you need to be careful. There's no footrest, but it also pivots effortlessly. The seat is comfortable. It's not a rocking stool, but it's comfortable, works well, and glides on very easily even on low-pile carpets, with or without an area rug. I'm going to compare it to a rocking chair that latches and has a footrest that should be arriving soon. Update - 1.5 months later I'm completely glad I got the rocking chair back and kept it. My new workbench is set at standing height, which is perfectly in the highest position. It still looks like new and the support is really good. A footrest would have been nice but not in the way. A wobbly stool tipped me forward and I slid down - the seat wouldn't lock in place so it was difficult to sit easily at any height, all I had to do was lean forward and strain.
