The perfect towel for spills and drying off tables or dishes

Love it! Bought one of these towels from a local store, then ordered more from Revain. I use them to dry dishes and countertops. They absorb an incredible amount of water and leave the table or dishes dry. I can squeeze it and it sucks up a huge amount of water again. It absorbs more than a sponge, paper towels, or other cloth. When I hang it up it dries very quickly. These fabrics are not as thin and flexible as cotton or microfiber terry. Rather, it is thicker and harder. As someone pointed out, the texture is a bit creepy in the hand, like silicone. But it's worth it. It's true that if you run it up to something like a loose wire on a refrigerated display case, the overlock stitching can snag. But I don't have much in my kitchen. I bought the dark gray (I use dark colors because I use my towels for spills like soy sauce :-) and had no problems with the color shrinking or bleeding. I wash in cold water, no bleach, fabric softener, unscented detergent or optical brighteners (which can reduce fiber performance) and do not tumble dry (which can also reduce fiber performance). I love it.

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • No color required
