I really like these gaiters. Unlike a scarf, which needs to be properly wrapped around your neck, you can simply pull this over your head and drape it around your collar. And it's snug enough and stretchy enough that when you want to pull it over part of your face for added warmth and protection, it's pretty easy to stay where you want it until you pull it back up. The pair I have are solid and I think they look good. I didn't see the need to use a drawstring and lock to tighten the end of the gaiters, but that option is available. These are pretty warm. I've worn mine when it was pretty cold and they gave me a lot of warmth. They wash easily as you would expect from a synthetic fabric. I would give them 5 stars if the fabric was a little softer, say like fleece. This isn't a downside, just an area where I feel they could be worn a bit nicer. Overall I'm glad I have them and they seem to be good value for money.
